Wouldn't it be great if we never had to think about passwords again?

Google is on it. They are in the process of developing a smart chip which would eliminate the need for multiple passwords. The new smart chip would not only make life easier, but would keep our personal data more secure. 

So where will this chip be? One plan is the Yubi-key. Insert that into any computer and you’re in, no password required. What if you lose that key? They’ve thought of that too. Another option under consideration is an embedded finger ring which would give you access on any device with just one tap.
