This sleeping pill in a peel has got melatonin, serotonin and can act as a muscle relaxant. Here are some more edible sleep aids:


• Chamomile tea. This blend of tea has a mild sedating effect. 

• Warm milk. It’s true – the calcium in there helps the brain relax. 

• Honey. Drizzle a little in your warm milk or chamomile tea for a double dose of doze.

• Oatmeal. Oats can help to encourage sleep and a warm bowl will be satisfying – especially if you add some warm milk and honey and maybe even a sliced banana.
