Don’t answer that phone – it could be the flu calling...

If you’re still worried about catching the flu – don’t pick up that phone...

Geeta Nayyer, AT&T’s chief medical officer, says filthy phones are adding to the record outbreak this season. We take them everywhere we go, to the gym, the office and even into the bathroom – but when is the last time you really cleaned your phone? We should be doing so about once a week, more often during cold and flu season or if you share your device with your kids.

To clean your phone, or any electronic device, you’ll need some disinfectant. There are some gadget wipes on the market or you can make your own with some rubbing alcohol or antimicrobial spray. Just be sure not to spray any solution directly onto your device. Dampen a soft cloth with it and gently wipe away the germs.
