Mom was right. Eat your bread crust! What’s so great about it...


If you’re one of those picky eaters who cuts or tears the crust off your bread – you’re missing out...  

Ask any food scientists – or grandma – and they’ll tell you you’re skipping the best part. Bread crust is a good source of antioxidants and dietary fiber which can help to combat cancer.

You can get even more of that crusty goodness when you toast your bread. Just be sure you select the lightly toasted option. Overly browning or burning the toast has the opposite effect and can bake in cancer-creating carcinogens
