Does your cat LOVE your computer keyboard? The feline phenomenon explained...

If you’ve got a cat, you’ve probably had a few fights over your computer...

Ask any cat owner and they’ll know what you’re talking about. Cats are not short on curiosity and they are especially fascinated by what humans are doing with their hands. The repetitive motion and sound of typing on a keyboard is just too much for most cats to resist. Add in the subtle light and warmth and the fact that you’re paying more attention to that thing than your pet king or queen – and the urge to interfere can be overwhelming for furry feet.

If you’d like to prevent those paws from pouncing and pressing all the wrong keys, there is actually some software out there specifically designed to shut kitty down. It’s called PawSense and it can detect those cryptic messages your cat likes to type. A few random keystrokes in the shape of a paw will automatically lock the keyboard before it hits “enter” or “send.” A spray bottle of water next to your computer can be even more effective.
