Could you be allergic to sex?


Most of us don’t consider sneezing particularly sexy – but for some people, there is a connection...

According to allergist Neeta Ogden, sex is actually a somewhat common sneeze trigger. That’s because physical intimacy activates the part of your nervous system that controls involuntary reflexes. The nose also contains tissue that can become engorged during intimacy which can provoke a sneeze.

Dr. Ogden says there is something you can do to stave off that unsexy sneeze. Press the length of your index finger firmly on the area between your nose and your upper lip until the urge passes.
