Chicken soup is good for the soul – and for the skin...

For ages, chicken soup has been considered good for what ails you – and wrinkles are no exception...

According to Andrew L. Rubman, founder of Southbury Clinic for Traditional Medicines, good old chicken soup has some significant anti-wrinkle properties. The slow cooking method of simmering chicken and vegetables together results in a broth rich in nutrients and hyaluronic acid - which enhances the fullness of our skin.

Store bought chicken soup won’t be as effective. The best anti-wrinkle soup is slow-cooked at home with free-range chicken, skin, bones and all. Simmer that with some onion, celery and carrots for 2 hours, uncovered. Save that concentrated broth and have some every day for plumper, fuller skin.
