The pay is not great – but the perks are amazing!

Considering the long hours, stress and scrutiny, the $400,000 salary might sound low – but the U.S. presidential perks might just tempt you to run...

• Housing: If the 132 rooms, 35 bathrooms, really cool office, personal movie theater, bowling alley, swimming pool, putting green and basketball courts bore you – there’s always Camp David. There you can enjoy your other swimming pool and bowling alley AND your skeet-shooting range.

• You won’t have to drive – that’s actually frowned upon while you’re President. You will have access to Air Force One, where you can work out in the fitness room or watch more movies. Sorry, no pool. Marine One is another option. Your Black Hawk or Sea King helicopter is more convenient for shorter trips.

• Laundry and cooking – done. You’ll also have $100,000 for travel expenses, $19,000 for entertaining and fresh flowers every day, a perk worth over $250,000 per year.  You're welcome.

Although your privacy is shot, your popularity at risk and your job security limited to 8 years max, you'll get to keep your fancy title.  You’ll also walk away with a pretty sweet pension - including top notch medical, a paid staff, free office supplies and a state funeral with all the pomp and circumstance when you croak.
