Are you hearing things that aren’t there?

If you thought you heard your phone ring when it didn’t – you might need to cut back on caffeine a bit...

Studies have found that people who have a high intake of caffeine tend to hear things that aren’t there. Researchers tested a group of caffeinated people. The participants were exposed to static noise and asked to press a buzzer when they heard the song “White Christmas” being played. Those who had consumed 5 or more cups of coffee hit the buzzer first. The problem is, the song was never played.
