Are you ready for the holidays? If you’re looking for a job, you should be....

Those seasonal and holiday jobs are good work if you can get them...

...and now is the time to be looking. Even if you’d prefer something more permanent, that holiday shift won’t hurt your hunt. Raina Fuentes, of Specialized Staffing, says taking a seasonal position can help close up some of those gaps in your resume. It’s a great opportunity to give something outside of your usual field a try. You’ll start the new year with a fresh perspective and some extra insight, skills and cash.

The retail industry is known for seasonal hiring – but some other industries could use your help too. Shipping and warehousing, accounting, travel and hospitality and the nonprofit sector will also be hiring help for the holidays.
