Is your bedroom dark – REALLY dark?

THIS should be your bedroom...

You probably turn the lights off before bed - but most of us miss a few.  Sleep studies show time and time again that total darkness is the best thing we can do for a really good night’s sleep. That means no dim lights, no light from bathroom, hall, the cable box or alarm clock – nothing – pitch black! Blocking out all light keeps melatonin levels high and spurs activity in the brain’s pleasure center.

People who enjoy a really sound sleep have less regrets too. Deep, dark sleep reboots the brain and makes us less prone to feelings of remorse.
