A study of 2,000 dieters found that Monday is the best day of the week to start. Those in the group that launched their diet on a Monday lost the most weight. Whatever you do, don’t start tomorrow. Those who started on a Tuesday usually gave up by the end of the week. Starting a diet on the weekend worked out well for a lot of people too – that was the second most successful start date.
