Newsflash: Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day!

We’re told over and over that breakfast is the most important meal of the day...

...but according to Adam Bornstein, author of “The Men’s Health Diet,” that theory is flawed. He says that believing one meal is the foundation of success can be detrimental to your healthy living goals. The breakfast-is-best hypothesis suggests there’s only one way to eat mentally, rather than finding flexible solutions that are more convenient to your individual lifestyle.

Adam says here’s what we really need to know about breakfast: Some people aren’t morning eaters, and there’s no reason they have to change that aspect to be healthy. Just as you have a unique body, you can have a unique diet. If you like breakfast, eat it. If you like snacking, make that your habit. The important thing is that you set realistic goals. When we take control over positive changes we’re determined to make – they’re much more likely to stick long-term.
