If you’re trying to lose weight – chances are you’ll be feeling some mild hunger more often...
That basic animal sensation can actually be a really valuable tool once we learn how to embrace it. Those pangs of hunger can be invigorating and give us a warrior-like edge. When mild hunger sets in it usually indicates that our body has switched into the mode that starts working on stored fat reserves. That’s when we get a bit of drive to start hunting for our next meal.
Unfortunately, in the modern human world, that next food option is probably just a few feet away and ready-to-eat. If you can manage to put that hunger edge to work at something else for a while, you’ll probably get something more productive accomplished - and give yourself a chance to really savor your next real meal.
