If you think it all sounds crazy, it’s really not. According to Pam Reid, Vice President at the ASPCA Animal Behavior Center, dogs crave friendship and can wind up depressed without it. If canine social networking isn’t your thing – and your dog isn’t having any social luck on his walks – you might want to consider a half-day here and there in doggy day care, especially in the winter months when the dog park is deserted.
