It’s the first Monday of 2012 – and we should be taking note...
This week will be full of firsts and the Japanese tradition of writing down your “firsts” as they occur in the new year can be very rewarding. Psychologist Tina Tessina says this tradition can be very rewarding. By paying special attention to seemingly insignificant daily occurrences like our first dream, first rain, first visit with a friend can help us slow down, savor small joys, take less for granted and live more in the moment. As the year goes on, the “firsts” will be less frequent and more significant.
