If you’d like to get to know someone better in three seconds, challenge them to a game of Rock Paper Scissors.

According to the World Rock Paper Scissors, or RPS Society, the first weapon displayed by your opponent says a lot about their personality. Here are the types:

• Rock: If this was your first choice, you are likely confident and maybe even aggressive. You don’t want to be backed into a corner and will come out swinging.

• Paper: You are the subtle, intellectual type. You’re probably also passive-aggressive.

• Scissors: You are devious, calculating and will likely want to play more than one round if defeated.

If you’d like to challenge someone to a game or RPS, here are some tips. If your opponent is a beginner, choose paper. Beginners open with rock most often. If your opponent is a woman, pick rock. Women often choose scissors as their first weapon.
