Think pink and do the flamingo. What it is and why it helps...

If you’re not in the mood for a rigorous workout – strike a pose instead...

The flamingo pose can be done just about anywhere and does wonders at strengthening your core and improving your balance and stability. The flamingo pose can also help to strengthen the muscles of the pelvis, hips and lower back.

Obviously, you’ll want to stand on one leg to strike the pose – but don’t forget your flamingo wings. For these you’ll need to bring the arms around the back and clasp your hands together. Hold that pose for as long as you’re comfortable, gently spread your wings, switch legs and repeat.
