If you go to a gym, chances are you’re wasting a lot of time there. A recent survey by Harpers Fitness tallied up the time spent on stuff other than working out and found that the average gym-goer only works out for about 39 minutes an hour. So what are they doing for the other 21 minutes? The top distractions reported were chatting, filling water bottles, checking texts and emails, adjusting clothes, fiddling with music playlists and untangling headphones.
