Your kids may be ready for back-to-school - but are you?
Here are some tips from Scholastic.com to help ease parents back into the routine:
* Start adjusting earlier bedtimes now to make the first wake-ups easier.
* Get the calendar. You’ll be less likely to be caught off guard with scheduling issues if you sync your calendar with the school calendar ahead of time.
* Make copies of all health forms. It’s a hassle to get them after the fact if they are misplaced or needed for another activity.
* While you’re buying school supplies - treat yourself to an accordion-style file for your homework. The start of the school year is sure to involve forms and papers for parents.
