Are you better off interviewing for that job via video - or in person?

If you really want that job - skip the skype and interview in person. 

A recent study by DeGroote School of Business in Ontario found that applicants interviewing via video conference were less likely to be hired. Hiring managers rated the virtual hopefuls as less likable than the face-to-face applicants and were less likely to recommend them for the job. 

The study also revealed that the dislike was mutual. Applicants rated the talking head interviewers as less attractive, personable, trustworthy and competent.
