If you’d like to feel better all over - head for the ocean.

If you’d like to have better skin, improve your sex drive and live longer - head for the ocean. 

Swimming in seawater can do all that, and more. If you don’t have an ocean handy, river and lake swimming has similar benefits. Studies have found those who swim in cool or cold bodies of water have better bodies for it. 

Cool water immersion releases adrenalin  improves circulation and gives the immune system a boost. If that cool water is salty, it’s like a saline rinse for your body that can do wonders for your skin and sinuses. Mineral-rich seawater has healing properties that can help relieve symptoms of arthritis, psoriasis and even depression.
