If you eat protein for dinner, it will help. Chicken, fish or lean beef for dinner are good options because that protein stimulates the release of hormones which burn fat while you sleep. Of course you’ll have to eat sensibly all day long. It’s also important to be sure dinner is the LAST thing you eat for the day. Anything else within three hours of bedtime can actually increase blood sugar that can lead to weight gain in the long run.
