There are some new statistics out – on getting dumped. A British journalist created a graph using some statistics from Facebook to determine the heaviest break-up days. He scanned 10,000 status updates for the phrases “breakup” and “broken up” and saw a huge spike right after Valentine’s Day. The next biggest surge of heartache was about two weeks before Christmas. And if that weekend didn’t turn out so great – brace yourself on Monday – it’s the busiest break-up day of the week.
