We all have our tough breaks and bad days – but we actually also have some power to bounce back from them.
Karen Salmansohn, author of “The Bounce Back Book,” tells us how to do it. Make a list of the five happiest moments from your past. Now – close your eyes - pick ONE of those moments - then imagine it with as much detail as possible.
Visualizing happy times releases endorphins in the brain. Recall as many senses as possible in your memory – breezes, scenery, aroma – anything you can conjure up. Those sensory details can really give that bounce back a boost!
