If you’d like to reduce some body fat – eat your broccoli!
What’s for dinner tonight? Throw in some broccoli – it’s REALLY good for you. Eating broccoli twice a week helps protect our eyes against cataracts. Broccoli can even stop the spread of cancer, because when we eat it our bodies produce a substance that destroys bad molecules. Still not convinced? Broccoli wards off some asthma and respiratory disease – and it’s got calcium and chromium which is good for bone density and helps reduce body fat.
Boiling broccoli is a bad idea though – that can ruin the anticancer properties. Stir frying, steaming or microwaving your vegetables keeps the good stuff more intact.
