Which is better for you – a fried egg sandwich, or a scrambled egg sandwich?

The next time you order eggs – make them scrambled, not fried...

According to dietitian Sandra Woodruff, how we cook our food has a HUGE impact on its nutrition. Here are some right and wrong ways to prepare some of our favorite foods that will help to keep harmful chemical compounds at bay:

• Eggs: Scrambled, not fried
• Coffee: Whole milk, not cream
• Salad: Poached chicken on top, not grilled
• Steak: Braised beef, not grilled
• Potatoes: Baked without butter, not fried

Sandra explains that moist heat is much better to cook with than dry heat. She says we are better off with stew, poach, steam, boil or microwave methods instead of grilling, broiling, baking, roasting or frying.
