If you’d like to give meditation a whirl – I’ll tell you what word to use...

We’d all be better off with about 15 minutes of meditation each day...

You won’t need any special equipment and you won’t even need to leave your chair. All you will need is a word. Repeating a mantra can really enhance your mediation and help you to stay focused if you’re new at it.

To choose your word, make a list of your favorites. Try repeating a few of them in your head and settle on the one that sounds and feels right. Some good choices are inspirational words such as love, clarity, balance or harmony. For many people, the best choices are a word that ends in “m” or “n,” such as wisdom, reflection or dream. Those consonants at the end can add a healing vibration to your mediation in you choose to say them aloud.
