Where did the time go? Who better to ask than Timex?

How much time do you waste waiting around?

Timex decided to find out. They surveyed Americans to find out how much time they spend or waste on everyday tasks. Here are the timely results:

• Waiting for a cup of coffee: 7 minutes
• Wasted in traffic: 20 minutes
• Waiting in the doctor’s office: 32 minutes
• Time spent getting ready: 32 minutes
• Time spent waiting for their significant other to get ready: 20 minutes
• Waiting for a table at a restaurant: 15 minutes

Timex also wanted to know how many minutes is considered officially late. Most agreed, any amount of time, even one minute, counts. The survey also determined that those who wore a wrist watch were much better at budgeting their time.
