Millions of Baby Boomers have a dangerous disease they’re not aware of...

If you’re a Baby Boomer, you should probably be tested for Hepatitis C...

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an estimated 3.2 million Americans, mostly Baby Boomers, have it. The problem stems back to the 1970s and 80s when little was known about Hep C, which is transmitted in bodily fluids. Because there was no screening for the virus back then, a significant amount wound up in the nation’s blood supply.

The symptoms for Hepatitis C are mild and not always noticed. They can include fatigue, fever and joint pain. It’s important to consider getting tested because detection and treatment can cure an HCV infection and lower risk for liver cancer and cirrhosis.
