Fall foods are in season. Which ones you NEED to start eating...

Ah, fall. Cooler temperatures, sweaters, vibrant colors and sweet potatoes!

Some of fall’s seasonal picks are super good for us and sweet potatoes top the list. They’re much better than white potatoes and have lots of fiber. They’ve also got a type of carbohydrate that doesn’t affect your blood sugar as much. Eating sweet potatoes will improve your energy levels and even boost your concentration throughout the day.

Cabbage family vegetables are also peak right now and extra nutritious. Varieties such as cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts and all types of cabbage have cancer-fighting properties and are full of vitamin C, fiber and potassium.
