There is more than one way to cook some hard-boiled eggs. How to hard-bake them instead...

If you like hard-boiled eggs – you might like hard-baked eggs even more...

They’ll taste the same but you won’t have to wait around for the water to boil. Hard-baked eggs will take a little longer than hard-boiled eggs – but some people find this method easier for large batches and they’re less likely to crack.

To hard-bake a batch of eggs, preheat your oven to 325. You can place your eggs right on the rack, or put them in muffin tins for easier removal. Bake your eggs for 30 minutes and then submerge them in ice water for another 10 minutes to cool them off.
