Kawaii is Japanese for loveable, cute or adorable – and researchers at Hiroshima University in Japan say the kawaii method really works. Some participants in a study were asked to view photos of adorable babies and animals before completing a complicated task. Those who did were more careful and made fewer mistakes.
Any baby will do for your shot of cuteness – but the study determined that baby animals had a little more kawaii power than baby humans.
