If you’ll be carving a pumpkin soon – save the insides! What to do with them...

After you scoop out all those seeds and flesh from your pumpkin – put them aside for your hair...

Pumpkin is rich in omega-3 fats which are great for dry or damaged hair. Toss the seeds and strings in a blender with a bit of water and coconut oil. Apply the mixture to your hair, wrap it up and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Your hair will be silky smooth and healthy when you rinse it out, no conditioner necessary.

If you’ve got any pumpkin left over, smear some on your face. Cooked or canned pumpkin is great for your skin. Add a little honey and cream for your pumpkin facial mask. Apply it warm, leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse for a pumpkin glow.
