If you’re trying to sell a used car – be sure to list some flaws...

When it comes time to sell your old car, you probably want it to go fast...

There are a few tricks to try that will increase the odds it will sell. First of all, find a flaw, any flaw, and add it to the description. People are suspicious of a deal that sounds too good to be true and you’ll come across as more trustworthy if you mention a small ding or defect that doesn’t affect performance.

Also, be sure to take all of your personal items out of the car before showing it. You want the buyer to be able to envision their own stuff in those compartments. Finally, your car’s aroma can make or break the deal. The most popular scents are coffee, vanilla or new car leather. Stash one of those scents under the seat.
