Does drinking milk before bed really help?


Before you go to bed tonight, have some milk...

Experts say drinking milk at bedtime can enhance our sleep – and it doesn’t need to be warm. Milk has protein and calcium which helps to relax muscles, lower blood pressure and reduce tension. By drinking it right before bed, we’re getting a good dose of those elements at just the right time.

The American Dental Association agrees. Milk has vitamin D and calcium that is really good for our dental health; however, it’s also got sugar. The best time to drink your bedtime milk is BEFORE you brush your teeth.
