Don’t just eat your veggies – really chew them..

Eating vegetables is good for you. Chewing them to a pulp is even better...

Dr. Gerard E. Mullin, author of “The Inside Tract,” says we’ll be getting a LOT more nutrients out of our vegetables if we really chew them thoroughly. The more we chew, the less our stomachs have to work to break down, extract and absorb all the good stuff in there.

If you like raw vegetables, that’s great – but about 70% of their nutrients aren’t absorbed and will go to waste. To really get the most out of your veggies, it’s best to lightly steam them or pop them in the microwave briefly.
