The smart watch has arrived, right on time. Whether or not you’ll want one...

As promised, smart watches are making their debut in stores and on wrists - and they're pretty handy!

Consumer Reports has reviewed the Pebble smart watch, one of the first wearable computing devices. It sells for around $150 and that may be money well spent if you like to keep in time with tech.

Your Pebble will proudly display the time, date and so much more. You’ll get the weather and notifications right on your wrist so you can check who’s calling, messaging or emailing without dragging out your phone. It’s water resistant and the charge will last a week, which is nice, but the Pebble isn’t subtle. It’s a little on the clunky side.

Consumer Reports warned that it hard to resist checking notifications on your Pebble and you run the risk of repeatedly looking at your wrist, suggesting you’re running late.
