Should you be signing up in advance for your Affordable Care Act insurance? NO!

Don’t answer the phone - healthcare is calling.

We’re just a little more than a month away from the October 1st health insurance marketplace exchange - and scammers are salivating. The Federal Trade Commission is warning us again that rip-off artists are calling people in advance of the Affordable Care Act exchange launch date, trying to get unsuspecting citizens to sign up for their individual plan. This is NOT how it works. These scammers are after your money and your personal information, so don’t give it up. If you do get such a call, the FTC needs you to report it. You can visit their website at HealthCare.gov or call the scam hotline at 1-877-FTC-HELP.
