Stock up on shaving cream. It can actually come in quite handy around the house.
Here are some spots that could use a shot of shaving cream:
* Grab a can and cover your entire bathroom mirror in foam. It’s fun and quite effective at keeping it fog-free for up to a few weeks. Just be sure to let the foam evaporate before wiping off the residue. The same trick works on shower doors.
* While you’re at it, spray some on your faucets and wipe it off for a lasting shine.
* If you’ve got a squeaky door, shoot some shaving cream onto each hinge to silence it.
* Shaving cream is a lot cheaper and a great substitute for carpet cleaner. Apply the foam to your stain and work it in with a toothbrush. Let it sit and then wipe up the residue with a damp towel.
* Kids LOVE shaving cream. Give them a can for some good clean fun.
