The next time you visit Grandma, make her some hot cocoa.

Have some hot cocoa with one of your elders - it’s really good for both of you.

New research has found that drinking hot cocoa can help improve the memory of senior citizens who are suffering from some cognitive impairment.

In the study, elderly participants who drank two cups of hot cocoa a day scored better on thinking and memory tests than those who didn’t indulge. Experts believe that the cocoa helps improve blood flow to the brain which can help stave off the effects of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
