Have you exercised your eyes today?

If your vision isn’t what it used to be - your eyes may need a workout.

Our vision can start to weaken starting around age 30, and Dr. Marc Grossman, author of “Greater Vision,” says these exercises that can really help strengthen aging eyesight:

* Letter Reading: Type up a chart with four rows of random letters just large enough to see. Make each row a bit more challenging. Now read each row aloud, right to left and then left to right.

* Pencil Pushups: Hold a pencil horizontally at eye level 12 inches from your face. With both eyes, look at one particular letter on the pencil. Keep looking while bringing the pencil closer to your face, until it blurs. Repeat slowly and concentrate on focusing.

Do these exercises for about five minutes each, and you’ve given your vision a little muscle.
