Let us introduce you to the perfect handshake...

Everyone knows that a firm handshake is the way to go.

But there’s more to it than that. Scientists at the University of Manchester have identified the key factors of the perfect handshake - and here it is:

Right hand, a complete grip and a firm squeeze, not too strong, in a mid-point position between yourself and the other person. You’ll need a cool and dry palm, approximately three shakes, with a medium level of vigor, held for no longer than two to three seconds. Keep eye contact throughout the shake and a good natural smile with a slow offset. You’ll also need to throw in an appropriate accompanying verbal statement.
