There’s a great show tonight – anyone can attend and it’s FREE! It’s the Perseid meteor shower. This meteor shower is one of the easiest to observe because the timing is right and it’s got a big meteor count. They’ll be streaking across the sky at about 60 miles per hour – and the show will peak tonight and tomorrow (August 12th & 13th). If you’ve already got plans, don’t worry – this meteor shower runs through August 20th.
The best viewing will be away from city lights after 11 pm. Get comfortable and look up to the northeast.
