Musical Menu

Do you choose a restaurant by the menu – or the music?

The next time you pick a restaurant – you may want to consider the menu, the mood AND the music. A lot of successful restaurants choose their music very carefully – some even change it up in different day parts or to target specific clientele.

Chances are you’ll notice the tempo pick up a bit at peak dining times to encourage customers to chew a little faster. Volume can be a valuable tool too. If it’s crowded – and it’s a little too loud to talk – you’re more likely to eat and run and make room for more customers.
