If you're getting tired of celery sticks and salad consider steady diet of Twitter...
There's a good chance Twitter can actually speed up the rate we can shed weight. Researchers at the University of South Carolina's Arnold school of Public health put two groups of volunteers on a strict diet. One of those groups had to tweet on a regular basis with other dieters and social networks relating to healthy eating and exercise. The more that group tweeted the more pounds they shed. The findings of this study suggest that no-cost, real-time tweeting can be even more effective than expensive support groups that require more time and effort to meet.
