Tylenol works great on aches and pains - but did you know it can help with hurt feelings too?
It’s true, according to researchers at the University of Florida. They tested acetaminophen against a placebo on people suffering loneliness, emotional distress or with hurt feelings. They took 500 mg. in the morning and again at night. The Tylenol bunch felt more upbeat than the placebo people. That’s because acetaminophen can reduce activity in regions of the brain that govern our emotions.
