Do you wash your bath towels too much – or not enough?
How dirty could that bath towel really be - considering you were as can be when you used it? Actually, they’re pretty filthy – microscopically speaking. After we rub our body with a towel, those fibers are filled with skin that didn’t come off in the shower. And the moisture it absorbs pretty much turns that towel into a hanging terrarium.
Washing them after every use could be a bit much - but if you toss that damp towel in the dryer when you’re finished with it, it will be much fresher for the next use. Hanging them in a well ventilated spot out of the bathroom will help too.
