If you’d rather not choose from your list of family names or a list of popular names – there’s a new list in town. Naming expert Pamela Redmond Satran has come up with the list of top ELITE names for boys and girls.
• Girls: Charlotte, Seraphina, Olivia, Elizabeth, Lucy, Isla, Violet, Sophia, Alice and Maisie.
• Boys: Henry, Finn, Oliver, James, Asher, Jack, Jasper, Max, Kai and Atticus.
According to the last census, the most common names in the U.S. are James and Mary. Mary actually tops the list of most popular female names in the world. For boys, that title belongs to Muhammad. There are still more Chang’s than any other last names out there.
