Our air conditioners have been working overtime lately – and now is a good time to give it a good spray-down with the hose. Air conditioners are constantly sucking in air – and bugs and dirt and other debris too. To clean an outdoor unit, unplug it first, take the cover off the grill, then give it a good thorough spraying. For a window unit, unplug it first, remove any covers, then vacuum any debris out of there.
Cleaning your AC unit once in a while can prevent a lot of problems that could require repair jobs if you let them go.
